Personal Ecologies

nourishing the soil

Autumn trail of the Seasonal Academy invites to explore the closest and most immediate circle of ecological intimacy: personal ecologies. It offers a path towards attentively engaging with a variety of elements belonging to inner gardens, working the ground for a more resilient base in life, taking care of the soil from where you grow and cultivate your work.

This learning trail offers space and process to look closer within the inner and outer paths you are walking — right-here and over-there — as intricately interwoven, since our selves continue beyond the membranes of our skins, to say it with Karen Barad. We are cultivating our gardens while they are cultivating us. This autumn trail is about feathering up for a long-term journey.

Trail Flow

I go where I love and where I am loved.
— H.D., “The Flowering of the Rod”

Personal Ecologies invite to re-inhabit the body as a Shelter, as a Challenge, as a Compass, as a Map, as a Garden, to look into your personal mythologies, into particularities and potentials you are offered, light and shadow you are gifted with, to acknowledge multiple intelligences and reconcile the inner oppositions, to better understand yourself, your drivers and needs, to dive deeper into the shared territory of language and find stories you want to ignite, to take care of what needs to be taken care of, to design your own structures of support and strengthen personal resilience. Wellbeing practices, discernment, and cultivating abilities to separate seeds from the ashes for a more balanced life within the inner ecosystem are at the core of this trail.

We are not just multiplicities, we are indeterminacies. Care is a planetary task, rooted in personal ecologies. So how do we take care and grow care?
