a space for regenerative practice

re-mystifying the forest
inquirying into the living and (joyfully) liveable worlds

Welcome to Foresta. This naturecultural ecology is tended by Foresta Collective — a fluid collective of “humans but not only”.

Our work is a slow path towards more connection, discernment, reciprocity and multispecies well-being as potentials for living in more attentive, collaborative, caring and poetic ways. It unfolds through listening, cultivation, wonder, land care, as well as through holding space for mutual learning and collective becoming.

Rooted in embodied reciprocity with the living world, thinking-through-making, an ongoing inquiry and apprenticeship with the wild, our work is a dedication to cultures of forests, spaces of the possible and mystery.

We are in the process of slow re-orientation and attuned re-structuring, as Foresta is becoming a real forest, growing to be a physical place of her own. But feel free to explore around here. Each chosen path will take you somewhere. If you like some guidance:

Our current activities evolve around a residency series that takes place in eastern Asturias and north of Berlin: Thinking with a Garden. Subjects that are part of our current inquiry are Forest Gardens, Architecture(s) of Connection, and Foodscapes.

Seasonal Academy currently offers one last time to walk the Summer Trail as a self-paced journey.

In the archive you will find Stories that offer to stroll through some memories (our video book/podcast series also lives there), as well as Pathways that hold space for an archive of past projects, commissions and interventions.

Last but not least, from time to time we invite you to come play with Foresta Kids or join an experience we do for and with children.
